Exercise Rehabilitation
Exercise rehabilitation is a structured, evidence-based approach to recovery that uses targeted movement and progressive exercise to restore function, reduce pain, and improve overall physical performance. Rather than relying on passive treatments alone, it focuses on helping individuals actively rebuild strength, mobility, and confidence in their bodies.
Exercise rehabilitation is about identifying how your body moves, understanding where limitations or imbalances exist, and addressing those issues through a personalized, goal-oriented program.
Conditions that exercise rehabilitation can assist with:
-
Musculoskeletal injuries.
-
Post-surgical recovery during the maturation stage of healing (typically a month or more after surgery).
-
Stable chronic conditions such as arthritis, diabetes, cognitive disorders, osteoporosis, Parkinson’s disease, cardiovascular disease, and cancer.
-
Balance and mobility limitations: Enhancing quality of life, posture, and movement quality for daily activities.
-
Deconditioning or general weakness: Reducing chronic disease risk and addressing age-related musculoskeletal or cognitive decline.
